Accidental art is created as nature continues to grow around foreign objects, incorporating human trash into a new landscape. Proof of decaying morals? A call to save our national lands? Or lessons how humans could learn to adapt to our changing environment? Using humor to address serious concerns of conservation without judgement, Ms. Goring aims to inspire through participation and enjoyment.
Our natural resources are always displayed in their stunning beauty. When Ms. Goring sent in picturesque photos to a recent State park contest, they were thrilled. When she sent in stunning photos of trash, they were rejected. This refusal to literally see what is front of us is an attitude Ms. Goring hopes to bring forth so that a discussion can start about the Trashing of our National Lands. Ms. Goring believes that by exploring our relationship with trash, and with our national beaches, forests, and deserts, without judgement or reproof, a journey can begin.
